I went, liked it, but not as good as the 1st. The principal actor is pretty far from what Gérard Butler's brought in the 1st movie.

I thought the first movie would have been better with 300 topless chicks instead of dudes. Unless that change has been made for the new movie I think I will skip it.

Not anywhere near as good as the first one. It did explain a bit of the history behind why the Persians invaded which was nice and there was a really odd placed gratuitous sex scene. The first one was much better because of the story line and how the Spartans trained and fought with precision.

I haven't seen it yet but I have to say that I wish Hollywood would cast actual bodybuilders to play some of these roles. I'm still upset about who they cast for the role of BANE in that Batman movie. Ughhhhh....Bane is supposed to be HUGE. That's the whole point. Granted, you need to be able to act and not just be big, but realistically, how much acting is really required of a character like Bane? He never really said anything super insightful in the comics or animated series as far as I know. JUST CAST A BODYBUILDER. IT WOULD LOOK COOL.

^ Yes! Finally! Somebody who thinks the same way! I was quite disappointed when they got Tom Hardy for the role. Nothing against him, he was great in Warrior (still one of my favourite movies to date) but if anyone has ever seen the animated series, bane is supposed to be friggin gigantic! They could have even made it easier too! Bane in the comics and tv series had tubes running into his arm called 'venom' which is basically a super steroid. They really could have taken advantage of that if they had chosen a bodybuilder for the role but alas, we got a guy in a tank with an elevation training mask... On topic now, still haven't seen the movie. Waiting till exams are done and then maybe I'll sit down and watch it.
