To be completely honest, I used to wear underarmour shirts in the gym and I also used to train in touques sometimes. This was because I had to walk from my house to my gym though and the old city I was in, it got to -40's on the daily. So I used to wear them to warm up (literally). I suppose I don't mind people wearing hats and such in the gym (I don't want to assume their situation) but only if they are just toques and hats. For example, today there was a girl who was who was wearing a beanie that said 'I ain't no bi***!' It's people wearing provocative things like this that really tick me off. And there were elementary kids there too!

In your case DK I don't think anyone thinks your a loser of any sorts. Being shredded and huge, you can probably get away with almost anything I would think!

^^^ I hold people who are "shredded and huge" to a higher standard because not only should they know better but they have a negative influence on a larger group of people because they attract more attention. When using a shared space you need to be considerate and mindful of those around you regardless of how awesome you think you are.

I train in my garage which is hovering around zero and personally I would feel stupid wearing a hat of any kind. Although I do have to wear long underwear and multiple layers.

Personally I don't really mind what people are wearing, I'm there to train, though I cannot understand how one can train with a hat, it's like you don't overheat under that ? or sweat like crazy ? It's their problem not mine anyway! At worse when it's really weird it make me smile, like that guy who wear women's clothe at my gym.

We are all 'weird' for someone else anyway, as for me, some think I'm weird because I spend most winter in Bermuda short whatever the weather, I go to the gym (10 min walk) like this, with my hoodie that I remove to train (and mark my spot when I need) and put back to go home, no need to go at the locker room, in bonus I avoid all those old nude dudes that are wandering around like it's their full time job.

Yes, I suppose you are right about the negative influence a 'huge and shredded' person has on the smaller population. With great power comes great responsibility right?
