    Default skin

Due to the fact i've yo-yo dieted majority of my life my skin has taken a beating..its not AWFUL by any means but based on what i pinch in the stomach most is skin and water.....anyone have any remedies/lotions that they've used to help tighten problem areas for looser skin?

i've read vitamin A,E oil and coconut oil .....

any suggestions would be great..i know with time and staying at a lower bodyfat % by skin will tighten up...hopefully.

    Thanks!

A few tips that may help.
    1. boost collagen intake...tightens loose skin, reduces inflammatory response, promotes tissue healing 100mg 1-2 times daily
    2. shed the last 10lbs....is it really just loose skin or a combo of skin and fat...most need to reduce BF more to see that loose skin disappear
    3. reduce inflammation...fish oil 1tsp twice daily
    4.reduce estrogen...calcium D and DIM

Green coffee extract is helped tighten me up and improved my complexion as well. This supplement is pretty cheap too

    What P said.
Also use moisturizers and always sunscreen, those won't help tighten anything but will protect your skin from further damage.
Not sure how lean you are now, but I know I have to get really lean for the skin/fat on my thighs and hams to tighten up.
It takes time for skin to tighten as you lose weight. I always hit a point in my prep where I feel saggy and I say my skin needs time to catch up, lol.

Age will also be a factor in your skins elasticity as well. Along with P's suggestions you'll also need to stay well hydrated.

Christine..I'm 30 some years older then you. I started this game in my 40s after having 3 babies. My early years of contest prep i tried stupid remedies...like spreading Prep H on my abs, then applying seran wrap and a heating pad and going to bed. lame...

I gave that up after 3 seasons and let my diet and mother nature reduce the loose skin. IMO I have to do a longer diet then those who are younger. I diet down to a lower bf then I need to compete at..then bring it up a bit so as to reduce that loose skin.... I diet 4-5 months.

Let me say......I'm fricken happy with a YOUNGER looking face....it's tight..not many wrinkles. Something is going right!
There is no miracle loose skin treatment..
