i have known nitrous aka Craig from quite a few yrs
and i was purely making a point
(WE DID TALK ABOUT THAT EXACT THING AT THE AGM,
no late fee to go onto BC's if contact BCABBA withing a wk of FSJ show)
ITS NOT BEING SNARKY its clearly making a statement of truth
and trying to educate not only him....
but others to their chance at funding from BCABBA when they go onto Nationals
that I'D SAY MOST ARE UNAWARE THAT THEY CAN GET FUNDING OF SEVERAL HUNDRED DOLLARS
BUT ONLY UNDER CERTAIN CONDITIONS
knowing Craig I know he has the potential to qualify for Nationals next yr
and whether he wants to do it next yr 2013 NATIONALS (he would have had to had last yr 2011 and this 2012 to be member in good standing)
or do the following yr 2014 NATIONALS (he would have had to be mbr in good standing 2012 and 13)
now hopefully i've driven this point home where he/others will understand
if you INTEND TO GO ONTO THE HIGHER LEVEL
YOU ARE REALLY DOING YOURSELF A DISSERVICE BY NOT GOING TO AGM
AND CONTINUING YOUR MEMBERSHIP AND DOIN VOLUNTEER WORK
in order to get funding
UNLESS OF COURSE YOU HAVE SO MUCH MONEY YOU OF COURSE DON'T NEED/WANT OUTSIDE HELP TO FUND YOUR TRAVEL TO NATIONALS
me i've done Nationals several times and let me tell you sir its very expensive
and for most people any little bit helps
