so i'm buying one of those adjustable dumbells to remind myself to exercise.

nothing like the 500 pound duck sitting in your apartment.

and yeah, its never too late

    thanks all

Well after three months of my comeback training I re-started doing Squats in the rack for the first time in years.I have been doing some leg press with 500 to 800 lbs for reps in preperation for a couple months with some Hack squats .I will continue hacks as my low rep heavies as i will be doing high rep Squats to start with for awhile.Want to make sure my lower back will hang in there.
They felt pretty good for a first time, but I only just went up to 230lbs for reps today.Proably pretty wimpy for some of you guys, but I want to make sure I come back for my next leg workout.LOL

I'll be 53 in a week. Started lifting at 42, competed for the first time at 44. My daughters are now 16, 19 and 28.

I'll be on stage again this May doing Figure and Grand Masters Bodybuilding.

Today was crazy...what got into me? I did a 30 min Zumba class at 9. Went back again at 5:30 for an hour of high intensity Zumba and then trained a client here in my home gym. Of course her problem areas are mine too, so we squatted, lunged and did core strength so much that my glutes are still burning. And why am I still energized at 1 am?

My oldest is having her first baby in July.

Grandma? Omg how time flies when your growing younger.

well I am a grandpa and enjoying every moment of it.Turn 54 in march. Why are you so energized, proably good diet and proper rest.I find the energy levels come in waves over a month.Tough to stay focused on strict diet with work, grand kids and everyday responsiablities.Keep up the good work.
I look around in our Gym and see many young teenagers obviously with some supplement enhansments (LOL) and think to myself where will you be when you have a mortgage,3 kids to raise and real life stresses to deal with.
