Expensive --- True (worth it... yes)

I don't know what you mean by "ruin you". His clients are normally the ones taking top spots at shows.

I followed his cycle diet for 6 months last year to prepare for a show, and it was the easiest thing ever. I got lean and put muscle on at the same time. Right now, I'm also following his 6 day MET hybrid training program, and holy fukk..... its the hardest workouts i have ever done. It gives a whole new meaning to Intensity.

i DO know what im talking about, as a very good friend of mine trained with him for a LONG time. i have been on his website and i have even spoken with him via email on a few occasions and no doubt this guy knows how to get results, and can make a competitive bodybuilder out of you if you have the guts. my friend was training with him to prepare for a show and she was given starvation calories and an ATROCIOUS clen regimen to follow. i remember reading an article he posted about how female competitors had been destroying their metabolisms with over use and abuse of stimulants and low calorie diets. this is EXACTLY what he did to my friend, to the point that her hair was falling out near the end of training with him. thankfully she no longer trains with him and hasnt for a long time. im not saying you wont get results from him, but prepare to ruin your body in the quest for greatness and pay through to nose to do it.

Scott is a very intelligent man when it comes to the body and he does have plenty of experience...but for every guy in shape hes worked with there are those that are not....Marlon John being one example. I have also seen some atrocious drug protocols for a few athletes that I have taken over as they were not pleased with their results.
Lets get this straight however...i never try to belittle another trainer because I feel they deserve the benefit of the doubt....the athete needs to shoulder much of the responsibility because they need to follow the advice given. They dont always do. Lou looked great at his Pro debut considering it was his first time with Dave and you dont learn a persons body overnight. Also the level of conditioning in 2005 was not what it is today. Striated glutes are the norm now and that means many guys end up sacraficing some size to get there. The sport has changed dramatically since then. Each trainer has different ways of doing things and you need to be comfortable with that, Dave likes HIT training, low volume, keto diet, etc....I prefer this because compared to the regular BB diet it works for me and my clients much better. Scott prefers a more volume circuit type workout with carbs in the diet (non keto) and burning more calories in the gym than just cardio.
You need to try both methods to find what you prefer and what gets you into shape...ie striated glutes.

I really enjoy his blog and studying his theories, just as much as I enjoy Praetorians posts.. quality..

Jersey I know a girl who had the same experiences with him. Maybe it's the same girl? She was on a pretty strict diet, I think 1100 calories a day but she was always eating chocolate and stuff like that and Scott knew it.

What he didn't know was that she was bulimic and throwing up most of those calories.. :S

no doubt the guy knows what hes talking about, but so do many people. some of the best results ive seen in athletes came from sports related strength training coaches. granted its not bodybuilding specific, but comparable in terms of success without the harsh effect on ones body. PM me your friends name and ill tell you if we know the same chick. i doubt its the same girl though cause my friend was hardcore on her diet, ive never seen anyone as dedicated to eating as she was.

I just got an email back from him, he does not give cycle advice with his program, what a joke.

When i competes in the 2002 toronto Pamela Howard was there and she looked great for the show, and now she is Pro.He know his stuff, but there will always be a few that aren't happy with there result, the real Keys is you fine a Training style you can handle when you diet, and find the right diet that works for then you have to suffer a bit, nothing is easy,i feel it right now on my diet.
I like hit training low volume since i only have so much gas in the tank,i save my enengy for the 1 hour Cardio.
I follow the Dr.Mauro DiPasquale diet, but you can play with the diet so i mainly take EFA's for fat,and not as much Meat.
