amino acids =protein=calories....there is no such thing as zero calories from BCAA. If dieting correctly BCAA are unnecessary.

True , but if a person is taking in 30g throughout the day it's like having 1220 calories over a 12-16 hour period , not going to effect you much ( that's like 7-10 cals every hour) But if you slam 30g ( 120 cals ) in one drink that is a bit different.
