The reason why im asking is because your protein intake is really high and from a few people who have studied the keto diet protein should be about 1gram(or a tad more) a pound of bodyweight.The reason why they say protein should be low is that the body might possibly transform(called glucogenesis) the extra protein into carbs and be used as fuel.

Are you taking any glucose disposal supplements like ALA?This will help with your insulin rising in case glucogenesis takes place.

By the way they sell ketostrips(about 8$a box) in pharmacies and all you have to do is urinate on them in the morning when you get up to see if you are in ketosis or not..
