      Description:

      What is Detrose?


      Dextrose is a simple carbohydrate. It is 70 - 80% as sweet as sucrose (table sugar) and is absorbed and utilised quickly, providing a rapid source of energy, is highly soluble in water.


      Due to the ultra fine properties of Dextrose it increases the mixability of other ingredients when added with them.


      How should I take this supplement?


      Dextrose can be consumed before, during and after intense exercise for the best results in.


      How should use this supplement to formulate my Post Workout Shake?


      Weight and training intensity are two factors that play a role regarding your post workout shake.  Most sources suggest 0.25 per pound of lean body mass for cutting and 0.50 per pound of lean body mass for individuals wishing to increase body mass.


      Protein should be in a ratio of 2 to 1, so if you have a lean body mass of 170 lb, this would mean 42 grams of carbs and 21 grams of protein if you are cutting, and 85 grams of carbs and 43 grams of protein if you are in a mass gaining cycle.  This should be ingested within 30 minutes of training.

      It`s basically the same carb source found in gatorade for 1/2 the price minus the electrolytes. I often mix them together to save money.
