Current weight is 228lbs. I am leaner then I was last year at 228 so hope that is a good thing.

Just checked my older posts and seen the pics around the same timeframe and here is what i found.
2010 is 17 weeks out
2011 is 21 weeks out.
hope this is a good sign

Man the added mass and looking much more full looking a great place to start should make the dieting a little easier I would think with less fat to get rid of. Good luck enjoyed the last log and will be following this one for sure.
don't worry about what weight class you'll be. worry about getting lean. If you make it to top end of middle and leaner than last year, that will imply you gained 6-7 pounds of muscle in a year. consider that a ridiculous achievment in a year!
And, if you are 190 and leaner than last year, than be proud of a 10 pound gain! I'd rather gain more and be bottom end of a class than not gain a thing!

Taking 20 weeks so should be able to get pretty shreaded!
I never seem to have a problem in that department so If I was luck enough to gain a few lbs of muscle it will hopefully help out alot.
I would feel more at ease if i could get the top end of Middle and carb up and get huge looking :P
or just get super shreaded for teh LH class :P
We will see how it goes :P

I think as far along as you are in your development any lbs of solid gain is significant and hard to achieve so congrats
Good luck with you prep! I saw you last year at the provincials and you did a great job. Slow and steady. Time to get shredded. More mass then last year and leaner. Off to a great start.

Diet changed to half carbs every other day!! wahoo !!

Hey Kor already sub 220 eh :) good man. You are just beggining your official 16 weeks and you are already in better condition than our usual 12 weeks out. Good idea on starting the diet early and cleaning up the junk before you get right into it. Expecting big things from you this year man i cant wait to see ya with few lbs more muscle and ur always tight conditioning. I wanna see striated outer sweep of quads this year bro! :) :D
