Actually, maybe it's because most of the people i'm around are people at the gym and i'm comparing myself to them. I guess if i'm out somewhere public like the grocery store or the movies, I kind of stand out so that's not so bad.

I'm workin' on it fo sho!!! Only 6' a lil' over 200 lbs. @ about 13% bf... Look like I lift, but not huge, some day I hope to be about 220ish at sub 10%... then i'm sure i'll wanna be bigger, but i do play many sports and don't want to lose too much flexiblilty and agility so I have to stay on top of that (already noticing upper body/ shoulders not as flexible)

LOL buying off the rack was out years ago....for shirts and pants i have a tailor....suits are tailor made...off season and precontest...i can buy thirts and track pants that fit..usually xxl....the US had alot more selection...ever see a 7XL shirt lol they have them in South Carolina...must be them grits!

I've been using him for all my shirts and pants for the last 5 or 6 years. He does 3 dress shirts for 135. That's said I'm way overdue. My pants can't be taken in anymore and the necks on all my shirts are way too small :) woo hoo!

No, maybe one day. I'm 5'11'' so if I got up to around 260 offseason with 15-18% bf I would be happy. Probably still wouldn't look like what most people consider a bodybuilder. Goals are a little different for skinny guys sans AAS.

I'm the same way. to me I am the same as I always was. I look at myself and think "****, I am small"
but according to everyone else, I am not small.

a strange phenomenon i have witnessed as well, its funny when CC and I go to biker rallies, or biker hang out spots...The dudes get weird if CC gets to close to them in a tank top...lol..true story...
First they glare at me for a second and start posturing, then CC comes in and they look in awe, then their ladies get all weird and evil eye CC to death..We laugh, and carry on with our day, it gets annoying how simple some folks are, if they took the time to chat with the 2 of us they would see we are 2 very kind generous loyal people, but we dont get the opportunity often to actually talk with strangers much....we get shunned....i cant even imagine what big bodybuilders must go through day to day.....
We move quite often as well, always a challenge to fit in....But the friends we do have are FRIENDS all the time...

EXACTLY!......I'm always told 270/280lbs (in off season) and 5'9" tall is NOT small....me and the mirror say otherwise though, lol......hangin at 230ish now though

People tend to associate bodybuilding with single digit body fat percentages. Someone at 5'11 and 220 lbs with 6% bodyfat will no doubt look like a body builder. Especially to the average joe. Whereas someone at 6'2 and 260 lbs but at 15% will look huge but more like a linebacker than bodybuilder. It's all relative

That is so true. Plus stats don`t reveal how a person looks. I swear I have a friend who`s always braggin` that he weights 220. But the guy dosen`t look big, he`s 6 feet tall. Even at 230 he dosen`t look big. He has wide hips and narrow shoulders. I really don`t know where the hell he hides this weight... He`d have to weight 250 to look impressive. The other guy I know is 5`11 and weighs 225 and looks jacked and has competed in the Mr Canada. So I totally agree with you that a guy who`s 5`11 and weighs 220 with 6 or even 8% bodyfat will surely look like a bodybuilder.

I remember seeing the picture, Praetorian is a scary looking dude. Maybe their could be a thread with just member pictures. I know there are sections for it, but just one thread. Wouldn't need to be current pictures, could be contest pics or whatever. The problem would be keeping the discussion to a minimum so it was all just pictures.

Ahhh don't worry bud. There were plenty of guys their walking as if they were big but trust me when I say they weren't. ****ing meatheads to the max.

the 2 biggest (outside of branch lol) that were there: Fouad and Scott Milne and they didn't feel the need to puff up their chest, blow out their arms and walk like they owned the place.

I must admit, I felt a bit small there lol
