Is it possible that if you drink your shake slower you will absorbe more protein then if wou would drink it all in one sip?

I would imagine (guessing here) that the difference might only be small. Either add something to it (carbs, fat, or fibre) or get a protein that is slower digesting. Something with a lower biological value.

why would all the protein bottles say Rapid Absorption if they wanted you to drink it slow......... also, they taste like ass so the faster the better

Keep it in your mouth and swirl it around will help your digestion. But speed of absorption in stomach, i don't think will matter. Just gulp it down and if you're worried, drink another shake a few hours later.

This is good advice as the saliva will break down the protein so when it hits your stomach you won't have to spray turds all over the toilet as if you had chugged it.
