Here in Ont we've got premier dad who's taxing us to death and using all that cash to fund healthcare + education unions. Problem is the manufacturing base is eroding so fast there won't be anything left to pay those insane taxes. We are like in the top 10 most expensive places to do biz in the world! I was hoping to get a sweet contract but when I called to see how things were progressing I was told they were being closed and everything was being shipped to Corporate in the US. FAwk... and this is going on X10000.

BUT Premier Dalton banned lawn herbicides, cell phones in cars, .05 Blood alcohol will lose you your licence, no smoking in cars with kids, helmet laws, etc etc etc...

You forgot teachers that make $100K. Even in richer Alberta most teachers top out at around $78k.

cant argue. I am all for alberta separation and one day hopefully we will have a party that will push the alberta agenda more, but in the mean time, it is one of the better provinces to live in

Ontario is being squeezed for more mostly due to more suckers to suck tax dollars from.

Ontario gets the 2nd worse deal in Canada (at least they have say in Fed government).
Ontario has to send billions to other province while it can't cut taxes to make tis industry more competitive, plus it has to pay for all of the social costs for new immigrants.
