If the people (non-taliban if there is such a thing) warned the troops of taliban activity and bombs etc. perhaps my outlook would be different. Infact what happens is the people protect and shelter the taliban. Keep their secrets, hide their weapons, and aid them in any way.

If we were smart, we'd do what the Brits did in Borneo. Make each little village a small anti taliban town and part of a self defense network. I support our troops 100%. They do what they do to protect OUR homeland. Many of my good freinds are Canadian Soldiers and have served in Afghanistan and lost friends to the taliban. They do what they do because it is there duty, and we have to protect Canada from the radicals. Better fight them in their sandbox than allow the radicals to sneak over here and fight them in our streets.

You do have some good points actually Angus. But the solution then is to close the Canadian border to ALL immigrants, Muslims, Jews, Somalians, the Chinese, etc.

It's the only way to protect our Homeland, unless we go over there to protect it.

Who said anything about closing our borders to anyone ? I have no problem with Muslims wanting to come to Canada , as long as they stick their Sharia Law requests up their asses. I like diversity of every kind and welcome it.

Where's the actual evidence? Where did he get his information from?
