Redicat Extradited To US and Arrested at LAX

Ashley Vincent Livingston, better known as Redicat in the world of black market androgens, was extradited to the United States for prosecution last Tuesday after spending eight months in a Thailand jail. Redicat was taken into custody by Thai police last March 2008, along with British Dragon co-founder Edwin Richard Crawley, in Pattaya (Thailand) as part of an international sting operation involving the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA). During his detention in Thai jail, he allegedly cooperated fully with Thai police in response to torture providing law enforcement with extensive information about his customers and business associates (”Spilling the beans on the Big Thai Bust,” December 14).

* Access to 10 years of complete order records.
* A list of bribes and gifts given to various board moderators [which included free product, Rolex watches and cash].
* Details of payments to various bodybuilding forums for banner ads and other forms of online advertising.
* Statements detailing purchases of stock made from well known suppliers and manufacturers.

Redicat was officially arrested on December 9, 2008 by U.S. Marshall Special Agent Jason Sherrell upon arriving at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) on a flight from Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi International Airport. His extradition was delayed by the Thailand airport closures at the end of November.

Ashley Livingston was transferred to a facility in Seattle, Washington where awaits trial facing multiple steroid distribution, steroid conspiracy and money laundering charges along with his co-conspirator Edwin Crawley in the United States District Court in the Western District of Washington as part of massive Operation Raw Deal investigation.

It is a list of admins/mods on forums where Redicat had an active presence compiled by Anthony Roberts; they may or may not have been implicated by Redicat but this should be a warning to be careful and not an indictment.

The unconfirmed rumor is that Redicat gave customer/associate info after being subject to repeated torture over the course of eight months in a Thai jail. It is highly probable that it is true.

I doubt 99.9% of the participants on internet bodybuilding forums could endure such physical/psychological duress without giving up considerable information. It certainly is easier to play a tough guy on an internet forum than it is in real life.

I think the most overlooked lesson regarding consequences is that there is a high likelihood that, if you become involved in the androgen black market in any commercial capacity (especially on the internet), you will have some identifying information end up in the hands of law enforcement. Why?

Because either someone upstream or downstream from you will give up your information via (1) computer forensic analysis or (2) disclosing information either voluntarily or coerced.

Your friends integrity and hard ball-like attitude, reminds me a lot of a very close friend of mine who got busted for on line juice traffic around 4 years ago. He went down hard, did 30 days in a 6x12, went to trial, told the cops to **** off, that he was not ratting people out.
It was his first offense EVER, so the law went down hard on him....now a days he looks back and is VERY glad he stood his grounds...even though him too was VERY well connected, he kept his hole closed :D
