View Full Version : Weird Muscle Reaction

So whenever I'm on, I get this weird thing that happens to some of my muscles. It's rather difficult to explain...

Basically what happens is that say for example I'm brushing my teeth. After having my bicep in the contracted position for a period of time >30 seconds, when I extend my arm it's like my biceps cramps up and flexes, pulling my arms back up slightly. After the initial contraction, it's fine. If I do it again for another 30 seconds, it happens again. Same thing goes for my anterior delts, chest, and triceps. It has never happened with any back or leg muscles.

Has something like this happened to anyone else or does anyone know what I am talking about?

I drink an ocean's worth of water but I'll try to up the water intake even more.

exactly , add some Gatorade in there also it helps with your electrolites

cramping like that is usually associated to dehydration but also like drifter mentioned you should drink some gatorade maybe for electrolytes to make sure they are up. How much water do you drink exactly?? Maybe you are flushing your body of yuor electrolytes too much....??? Just a thought, probably not happening but something to think about. As funny as it sounds like it was said above your urine should always be clear cuz that lets you know your well hydrated.

I get that cramping and sometimes it feels like rigourmortis setting in. I just up my magnesium, try to get the citrate and it seems to do the trick.

I'm workin on it! I'll try pounding back some more water and see if it helps. Will also try to get some gatorade or something to help with electrolytes. My piss us generally clear, though, so I guess I'll have to run an experiment. Thanks for the tips
