This just came across the news wires:
LORRAINE, Que. - Police in a suburb north of Montreal say they have made one of the largest seizures ever of anabolic steroids in Canada.
Local police say most of the 410,000 doses seized at a home was anabolic steroids. But police say they also found breast cancer drugs, counterfeit Viagra and Cialis as well as methamphetamines and marijuana.
A 38-year-old man from Ste-Therese, Que., faces numerous charges including drug possession and trafficking.
Police say the drugs were to be sold by vendors at gyms and fitness centres.

Translated via Google http://translate.google.com/:
Police have made a major seizure of anabolic steroids and counterfeit drugs last summer north of Montreal. The police have several months before announcing the arrest to complete their investigation.
Police in the Régie de police Therese-De Blainville have arrested a person of St. Teresa in July. Frédéric Vigeant has been accused of drug trafficking and counterfeiting in the days that followed.
Dispatched to the home of Mr. Casper for a family quarrel, police found the presence of illicit substances in the home during their speeches. They requested a search warrant that allowed them to get their hands on pharmaceutical inventory of the individual to 38 years.
The individual inventory stored in the basement of his home of St. Teresa.
A total of 413 150 tablets of steroids, Viagra and amphetamines were seized. Drug fertility treatment were also in the inventory of clandestine pharmacist. It is one of the largest seizures of its kind in Canada.
"Nandrolone, cendrolone, metenolone, boldenone, drostanolone", lists the director of laboratory testing of the National Institute for Scientific Research (INRS)-Institut Armand-Frappier, Christiane Ayotte.
The value of seized goods on the black market, is 4.3 million in bulk. But, this value would reach 11.5 million dollars over a possible sale at retail. The merchandise was likely to be passed in gymnasiums and schools in the region, but the police investigation failed to flush the distribution of the individual.
The syndrome of magic potion
A specialist in the fight against doping, Christiane Ayotte explained that these drugs are often used by athletes who want to counter the adverse effects of steroids. "This seizure, I find it extremely interesting because it is representative of what happens with the move and the wide availability of these mixtures are very dangerous," says Ayotte.
"It does not take drugs, the eve of the Tour de France and the first Olympics is something that is very young," warns Ms. Ayotte. It highlights the many negative side effects on cardiovascular health, kidneys and liver doped athletes. The psychological effects of these substances are also documented.
"Body image is good enough is never big enough, the muscles are never big enough biggorexia to refer to anorexia," says Ayotte.
A former athlete specialist kick-boxing, Herby Whyne, abounds in this direction. He is a social problem. People are lazy and want results quickly, leaving to take shortcuts.

when one can buy something for 35 bucks, that isnt street value, street value is "that guy" we all know at the gym, selling that same vial for 180.

YAY! the police are doing their jobs!
Well, the hookers and crackheads of Montreal can feel a little bit safer now, knowing that no juiced up teenagers will be robbing them this week... off to battle more 'street crime' for the cops, I guess...

I wrote a summary of the case facts as reported so far on my blog. Please let me know if something is missing or incorrect.
I wasn't sure if this was the primary owner/producer of Syrus Labs, so I referred to him as a primary distributor of Syrus Labs.

I also want to point out how the press briefing announcing this bust was all about "saving the children." It was ridiculous - with "experts" talking about children and spouses being the primary victims of steroid abuse since they live with steroid users who could go violent because of roid rage. Also, a policeman said the main users of steroids were youth (presumably teens). Total BS.

so, he beat his wife and she called the cops while he had this stuf lying around his living room? kitchen? You would think if she called the cops the guy might think, hmmm the cops might pop over, maybe I should move my meth lab into the closet.....

Millard, your article read as if this was a Syrus lab bust, which cannot be assumed by just looking at a photograph. Nor can it be assumed that the guys busted was only dealing with Syrus labs (hence the totality of his stock was from said lab) or that he was a "primary" Syrus labs distributor.
I think you jumped too early to your conclusions based on an incomplete and insufficient evidence...unless you have access to other informations you're not sharing with us.
