I posted this on MN but traffic is low nowadays!

anyway, I injected my leg on Tuesday for the first time in well over a year. I've been rotating detls, glutes and pecs but thought I'd mix in the quads this time.

I had some minor discomfort the next morning but thought nothing of it and did some stretches and massaged the quad in the shower. The next day (thursday) I had an even bigger pain in my quad which got even worse on Friday.

On saturday, it started getting a little red but there's absolutely no swelling. My dad was over for coffee that night and I asked him to guess which leg was painful and he guessed thee wrong leg. The redness is very subtle.

Also the redness and pain is about 2 inches to the left of the injection site which is confusing me.

it doesn't look like an infection but the pain is excruciating. In the pain that I'm in I would expect to see my leg at twice the size and in a giant basketball bump. I literally can't bend my leg at all and not because its tight but because its painful.

I was going to hit the doc last night but I thought i'd sleep on it and see what it looks like today.

The redness is even lighter now (I can barely notice it) but the pain is slightly worse.

I do'nt get it:confused:

I've had glute shots where my lower back right over my spine was swollen as hell and even the tops of my ass cheeks were swollen.

If you have rotated sights on your upper body in the past year and have not since injected into a meaty quad i am pretty sure Your receptors in your legs are very fresh and sensitive and your just like a newbie starting all over again, you popped your cherry again on your guads.
Yet keep an eye on it if it gets really really hot, red and swollen then there might be a infection yet i am pretty sure it is what i listed above.
Lets us know how it turns out.

It looks like it was just a really bad reaction to the shot. No infection and pain is mostly gone.

Will squat again next week :D

How long was the syringe?
1.5 hurts a lot less than 1" in the butt.

How much were you injecting? I've been doing 1.2mL EOD in the quads when it's their time, and the pain is there for a couple of days after, but I'm ok with it. I'm using homemade Test P with 2%BA.

Was 2mLs with a 1.5'' needle. I've steered away from quads because I always seem to slide by some sort of nerve. I've always found it annoying. It's like playing that minesweeper game and always hitting the damn mine on first poke.

Fair enough. It was like that the first couple of quad injections for me, but after that it was fine. I actually did the tear drop once, and let me say - never do that. Not a good place, very small muscle and it hurts a lot when filled up! :D
