Hey everyone. Just discovered Quinoa. It's looks great for bodybuilding
Per 185gr (1 cup cooked)
Protein - 8g
Carbs - 39g
Fat -4g
Seems like a better choice than rice for carbs.
The problem is it is rather bland compared to eating it straight up like rice.
If anyone eats this regularly, can you please share a tasty recipe?

I eat it jus tlike that. I have learnt to love the foods that do good to my body without any additives or tastes.
I am a French tradtional chef also....so you can imagine I like to cook good food, but I don't eat it.
With quinoi even if you sauteed some challots, tomatoes, peppers, add coconut oil instead of olive oil...then add the sauteed veggies to the quinoa and you're good to go.
Apple cider vinegar will also give you tons of taste AND so many great qualities.

What will the apple cider vinegar impart to the meal b2j?

Grains are great for starving populations. They store for many years and are resistant to rot and molds. IMO if it doesn't go bad in less than 5 days it isn't food. Grains in general, even the best of them, are a pretty low quality food.
I have found that if I am eating good healthy real foods that there is not a lot of room for grain calories in a maintenance level diet.

Lots of veg, nuts, olives, berries, sweet potatoe/yams, beets, carrots, parsnips, spaghetti/acorn squash, rice (yes I know), regular potatoes (meh but I like them).
I also still eat oatmeal and berries w/ cinnamon for breakfast. There are no shortage of carbohydrates in the world that aren't white sugar or wheat.
