Hi.
I have a bit of a dilemma at the gym and I'm sorry to the people who will think this is dumb. It's not dumb enough to me that I won't ask for advice, so here goes...
I have always worked out for the last several years by myself, and it suited me fine. My workouts were kind of easy going with a little bit of this and that thrown in for good measure. I have changed that and am now training seriously. It's suits me fine to work out solo as I've always done but now I find I have a dilemma in that I now am getting into heavier weight, actually sooner than I thought but the workout that I created for myself has been showing great results so far! I now think I need a spotter for certain sets but am totally lost as to how to find this? Does one just ask someone? I'm a little shy and don't want to bother people, but for instance with the squat rack my balance is crummy and I can't get the heavier smaller barbels on the back of my neck without help. Just one example but I really want to push myself now and am at a plateau as to what I can do alone. Is my only alternative to hire a personal trainer?
Ok be nice....lol
