As the title says, what's the best? So far I'm leaning towards a:

SOLE F80C, looks stout...

check out Smooth Fitness....I got a treadmill from them and really like it.

PaceMaster Gold Elite fold up treadmill....got it at Boomerang Fitness in Toronto....1900 a few years ago. Made in the USA...great warranty and quality.
