I have been training some of this guy's clients on his studio for about 1 year.
There have been some time where his paychecks came back and he promptly gave me cash .
Last one bounced and I have been trying to talk to him about it for about a week and no answer.
Not to emails, not to txt, his voice mail is full and I asked the receptionists to ask him to call me 2X and nothing.
I was about to leave the place anyways but I wanted to do this under my terms without creating any turmoil.
It seems that the boat is sinking: staff just disappears (I believe due to lack of payment as well or lack of business to the therapists), he is saving on lightning and some other small stuff that a so called boutique studio cannot.
No new clients walk trough the door no new business for me or him.:beat
The questions are:
1) Do I wait until the new year to leave, hoping that I can get paid for October, November and December?
2) If I live tomorrow what do I do to get paid anyways? I have no idea on how the Canadian legal system works.
