Shields is about to sign with the UFC apparently.His win over Henderson provided a loophole,Martin Kampfman to be his first opponent.

Kinda quiet on this...I hope the Strikeforce guys aren't really really bummed about this...Jake will be meeting GSP within the year for sure...:)

Beating up Henderson is a feat.He might have the capability to enter the ring heavier than GSP...

That did not help Alves at all, and it won't help Shields, imo.

i agree, beating hendo was a big win for shields. based on no other reason than my gut feeling, i think gsp would dominate jake.

I'm pretty certain if gsp prepares and has his head in the game he dominate the majority is fighters he will face.

I agree.
I think his loss to Serra taught GSP a valuable lesson about being prepared.
I'm really impressed by his committment to becoming a better fighter all the time, he's always trying to improve his game in all areas.
Hopefully him and Silva will get to fight before they start to decline, that would be a huge fight.
