Not sure what they are looking for in Figure it is so confusing. Went to the southerns over the week-end. HUGE classes in figure and trying to figure out who was going to place was interesting. IW and I would make the call and would wait for the judges to announce the winners..... who we thought would win wasn't the case.

One of the things I like about the WBFF is that they stated that the figure "look" would be hard and muscled. They have stayed true to that. the girls winning the classes were just that. No "guessing" as to what is expected.

Thanks MP and Nate. Nate, the show was really well run. There was always someone backstage to help out the athletes. We were served water, gatorade, even a few treats in the evening. The "goodie bags" were REDICULOUS. The venue was breathtaking! It was held at the Casino in Quebec....very nice:)

Yah it's hard to know what they're looking for cuz the placings are confusing.. I think you had her beat by a fair margin, so did the girl who took 3rd...

I have two girls who want to compete next year and have to get a handle on this... Oh well as long as we all have fun.. right?

I'm thrilled with the finish....do I wish I was 1st...of course, but she was clearly more muscled than I was. The WBFF critreria for figure is "hard, lean muscle". The decisions made is all classes were true to this. The girls with more overall muscle took the classes.

I was told that I needed a bit more overall size. The girl who won 1st had a very similar build to myself, but had more muscle....and it showed.
I thought she looked fantastic! I'll be lifting heavy again this year and we'll see what I can deliver next competition...

Blonde in the middle was 1st, tall girl on the right was 3rd. I will also add that the blonde had tremendous stage presence...she knew how to command attention as soon as she hit the stage....also something I will work on.

I was there, but didn't get to see him on stage. Some people just look they're having SOOOO much fun up there....nice vid:)

Yah I see now I still think she's more lean than she is muscular. Really helps me as it appears that they are going for leaner than I would have thought. It's hard to tell with photos sometimes though.

That Chris white guy had some great biceps wihs I could have seen a few poses. The video mostly jsut showed him trying to look gracefull rather then hiting poses. I think he could have done both.

Well I wouldn't go as far as to say disgusting, but I am surprised someone this thin and stringy took first place. Not my taste but to each his own. I would have placed OP first and the tall girl 2nd and the winner 3rd..

You look great! Its funny though that the blond who won first place, she actualy works out at my gym! Saw her just once though, probably works out on different times then i do.
