View Full Version : What to eat after doing WEIGHTS and CARDIO ??

hey guys

i know when i do weights right after i have a dextrose/whey isolate shake to start muscle recovery within 30 mins of ending workout. and when i do cardio on empty stomach in mornings i go home and just eat my reguarly egg whites and oatmeal which is about 45 mins after stopping cardio.

question is what do i eat if i do weights and then cardio after coz sometimes i can't go to gym twice a day? i have never gotten a solid answer. i have been told to just treat it like a regular cardio session and wait up to 45 mins to eat a solid meal but then how do i reload my glycogen isn't that too long of a wait?

my advice straight away have a shake with protein and vitargo if you can some bcaa's,5g creatine and 10g glutamine,ive tried waxy and dextrose but nothing seems to act quicker in my body than vitargo

Have your shake with whey isolate and a carb source....then eat a balanced meal about two hours later.
