Well following in Tavs footsteps and starting a new log for the provincial prep.
Only got 4 weeks to get ready for this one.
Starti ng all over tomorrow morning with my hour cardio to get rid of some of this junk I put on in the last 2 days.

CMT will be representing in london once again!!

gonna try and get my legs shreaded. I think my upperbody was good but I was lacking in the leanness in my legs. time to rectify that.

Day 1 of 4 week Kill the legs prep.

well today is back to the diet. Yummy egg whites this morning :p

I'm pretty motivated this time around cause I know I have more time to get shreaded.
Felt my legs were not good enough for teh miss so will rectify that for sure!!!


Chest tonight and cadio cardio cardio :)

down about 5lbs already from the rebound water weight.

It's extremely hard to get back at it. I am finding it hard to get up in the morning. probably all those carbs I have eaten are still making me sleepy.

I will say i am glad to be back in the gym. I did miss that part :)

well not the cardio part :P

this is the struggle I spoke about in tavi's log. A week between shows is easy to keep focus for. 2 weeks is less easy but you see the end-goal. 4 weeks is tough to get yourself mentally in gear for when you've just spent 12, 16, 20 weeks prepping for the first show.

When i did my first show my trainer wanted me to do a level 2 show 2 months later. it was a desaster!! i came in last for the level 2.
I couldn't get back in the swing of things. plus he abandoned me at the last minute wioch did not help!!

So this time I am not gonna make the same mistake!! Jumping right back into it with both feet and going hard!!!

2 months I would not have done. Pros can do it (not saying its any easier for them mentally) because they have some added incentive ($) but us regular joes its very difficult.

this is the precise reason I am doing sudbury. I would have loved to do missisauga since it is likely a bigger show (and a little closer for us but not much).

1 week back to back, get it all done in 1 shabang! 4 weeks apart isn't so bad though if you feel as though you weren't in the best possible shape you could have been in. For example, before I knew there was a show in sudbury 1 week before provincials, I was going to do mississauga, but just show up a little less lean...Not really ideal, because I would hate to do a show "half-ass" just to qualify...especially when half ass might not get me qualified!

On the treadmill at the gym. This is so boring lol did back today. Down to about 202. Was up as highas 209 one day. Cant wait to be sub 200 again.

Good work Korillon. Getting back into the swing of things now eh. Very good to hear. It was looking a little ugly for a few days here with me in the low 210s but everything is getting back eh. I have to admit the rebound after this show is quite hard for me to get out of. But ive been back in action just like you hittin the cardio. Lets get this done and show ppl how the CMT roles just like we did last weekend. Both in top 5 that would be a HELL of an accomplishment for me personally and the team as a whole. Im just thrilled we get to do it all over again in a few weeks. What a fricken blast it was the best weekend of my life honestly.

199lbs on the dot this am.

Sub 200 already :)

got the day off today so gonnna hit the gym then head downtown and do lots of walking then legs tonight at the gym.

Killed the legs today. Squats, extensions, lunges, seated leg curls, lying leg curls and 30 mins on the bike.


decided to try an other gym today for a change of pace.

It's an older gym with kinda crappy equipement. The TV sound things didn't even work. Think I will stick to my gym. more posh but nice equipement :P

still pretty vascular in the upper body and can still see my abs so I think that's a good thing :P
need to get the legs to catch up.

had a god delt workout today!
love working delts since DK gave me a good routine.
seen lots of improvement since then

Still carying alot of water in the mid section.
Arms and shoulders are still pretty vascular. legs are about the same as at contest time.
trying to get rid of the water. drinking lots having asparagus to try and flush some of it out.

will have a pic soon.

I think things are back on track now.

weighed in at 196.2 this am!!

3 weeks to go 15lbs of water to get rid off. Not a problem!!!

same as this AM since this AM. And i have been eating my diet all day!!
Finaly this stupid rebound weight is going away!!

3 weeks to go and I think I might actually make it.

My legs are looking better then at the show already.

All my weight is held in my midsection.
arms and chest are vascular as hell.
Now that I see results it is motivating me even more.

starting to get excited again :)

Started my new job today so my meals were kinda off. Managed to get it all in but could not get my water in. first day is always the hardest. tomorrow will be better as I have my desk and know where everythng is. We have a good filtered water dispense :P nice and cold lol

if you're putting on any decent size you're waist will grow. One cannot maintain a 30" waist while adding 10, 15, 20lbs of muscle.

flawed thinking. GH gut is overrated. Sure, no question there are distention issues due to GH and insulin but you pound back 5000, 6000, 7000 calories a day and your gut will be distended too.

Ever seen progress pics of pros who go from 200'ish lbs early in their careers to 230, 240, 250? Waist size has increased and that's not all due to GH.

Just saying don't expect to keep the same stage waist size if you are looking to put on decent size. By decent size I am not talking 3-5lbs in one year. I am talking about 15, 20, 25lbs in 4-6 years.

Anyway, how's prep going?

Oh god j don't plan on gaining that much muscle lol i'm to old to train that hard lol. If i can gain 10-15 lbs in a few yearz i'll be happy. I did the "get fat" off season, i wanna stay relatively lean this off season.

Prep is good 194.2lbs this am. Legs are looking better. I want cadbs again already lol

100% correct...distended abdomen has much less to do with GH then with the amount of food necessary to get very large. You can prove this to yourself by looking at the very large BB's and the smaller 202 guys. Both are running alot of GH...only the big guys have distended guts...this is due to the massive food intake not GH or insulin. If you want to put on significant size youll need to eat much more food than you think is necessary.

did 2 sessions of cardio today.

hour and 15 mins total.
gonna do an hour later on.

fell asleep while watching a movie :P

apparently the cut off is 187lbs for middleweight this time so I am not worried about making weight.

It is all about the conditioning if you ask me. Some guys might be bigger but I like going for the shock factor of "OMG how did that guy get like that????" Keep it up, not long now.

wow do I ever feel like crap!!!

Tired. lethargic, brain dead.
I got a new job and doing some training and it's sooooo hard to concentrate and not fall asleep looking at a monitor all day reading about CPU's and memory lol


Looking good but looking flat. my skin is pretty thin and vascular but not much definition.
can't wait to eat carbs again!!

haha ya us the bodybuilders not the producers lol. I think the average weight was like 98lbs fir those guys lol.
They asked for tips on how to get such big chests lol

thank god it's sunday rest day. gonna do 1 cardio session later and that's it!!!

wow talk about massive gutrott!! worse pain ever!!

took a laxative last night, worked like a charme!! but man did I ever have gut rott after. couldn't even hit the gym, couldn't stand up straight and my gut was bigger then ronnie coleman's!!

found the cure though.

lots of TEA!!!

drink a few cups and you will be fine.


Thank god my buddy told me to try it.

can't eat anything till after the weigh ins to make sure I stay.

hey all

whata a tough show holly crap!!

the calibur of the athletes is amazing this year. very tough competition it's awesome!!

I don't think I did very good but hey it's all good. I am to tall for middle weight anyway. I need to gain 10-15lbs and be a light heavy cause of my height. so I will take a year probaly 2 and see what I can do.
I'm still happy with my conditioning here.
My legs are way better then at the sauga's and over all much beter. Just didn't have the mass to compete. It's all good.
