How many of you use it and if so how much do you go through? And where do you typically buy it from?

Just doing some research.

Thanks.

I use mine in a salad mister for cooking and buy it at a local italian specialty store.
While it's expensive it lasts a long time. I usually have 4 or 5 different oils around for my salads and cooking, almond, macadamia, avacado, olive. I'm always on the lookout for a good new one.

i use it for cooking with but use flax oil for dressings and whatnot, the mac nut oil seems to last a long time it only takes a little to coat a pan, trust me, your health is worth it!! :)

That`s really not that bad. I was paying about $20 for 500mf of Udo`s choice oil when I used the stuff. If mac oil tastes good, I`d buy some at $15 a litre.

I use anough to coat the pan when frying, its good for that as it can handle higher temps than coconut oil and still be ok.

When adding to food I add 1tbsp. I actually get a lemon flavored one thats really good.

I have a similar approach to JohnnyO and also just spoon it into my mouth. I've used the NOW Foods and Species product.

I`m looking to substitute some of my peanut butter as a fat source for an oil of sorts. I absolutely can`t stand the taste of olive oil, flax or udo`s choice. I know I`m being picky here but is there anything else I can use until I get my hands on some macadamian nut oil?
