Anyone purchased a diet? Not a weight watchers plan or whatever... I mean like a straight up diet where every calorie was counted for your specific goals. Not cookie-cutter generated from a web form either, I mean a real pro nutritionist custom tailored diet.
And if the answer is YES... Did it work for you? (And where'd you get it)

Not from a nutritionist but I did acquire a copy of "The Metabolic Diet" by Dr. Mauro Di Pasquale. Excellent book and plan, though I've also got "The Anabolic Diet" and a couple of others he's written. The A.D will give you how many calories you need for whatever goal you've got, both tell you the macronutrient breakdown(s), and the M.D even has a huge meal plan section. Had to design the meals from day to day myself but it's worked, went down about 24-25lbs over about 5.5-6 months (I intentionally took my time..1-2lbs a week). Tweaked the diet when I needed to, usually when I stagnated, and had to be creative with meals a bit.
The Anabolic Diet might be more suited to what you're looking for. I'm pretty sure it's now free to download, otherwise I know you can download it from almost any torrent site.

I have not personally, but I know many people who have gone to simplyforlife for custom tailored diets to fit their needs. Competitive body builders and just those looking to lose weight. Bruce and Steve Sweeney are geniouses when it comes to nutrition. These guys have built many local champions and helped others lose tons of weight.

Men's Health The Hardgainer Diet is what I use and it's available at Chapters/Indigo.

Well, when one buys a book on dieting, the actual diet isn't usually displayed within the book for 1 primary reason: you can't tailor one diet to more than 1 person. The calorie content would differ, and the macros would vary.
I'm talking about someone calculating that for you, and also choosing the right diet to calculate as a bonus. I'm hearing good things about LifestyleChangeOnline. I figured with a name like that it's pretty softcore but apparently some guy has DiPasquale's Anabolic diet recommended to him and calculated for him and it's working great.
I'm kinda on the fence... I like to NOT spend money but I will if it'll help :)
Go Scott Abel,or Sean Summer.

I'd try and find someone to do a diet for you so you can get a feel for how to diet and then you can make changes from there. Scott Abel is very good and can give you a different perspective for sure. Dave Palumbo is good if you can handle zero carbs and higher fats. SS from what I hear is also good.

Has anyone paid for one of Abel's one time diets off his site?
How personalized is it?

seen a few of abels deits from his clients
they vary alot!!!
one dude was like 35% pro 55 or 60% carb 5-10% fat
another dude was like 45% pro 5% carb and like 40% fat
second dude said Abel had him on something similar to diet 1 .... but he felt tired and bloated all teh time so they changed it up.
so I would say they are pretty individual

i got a abel diet and it is 99% the same as the one my buddy got from him a couple years ago.
Im thinking he has a few different types of diets he utilizes depending on the circumstances and than just picks one of them and adjusts calories for the individuals needs.
I dont think its as personalized as I thought it was going to be, but thats just a guess... and either way it works and thats what really matters to me.
