Thought I'd start a new thread for this as the search results didn't reveal much in the way of positive experiences and their associated dosing schedules.

So any current or past users of ALCAR what is your dosing schedule and do you prefer empty stomach or with food? What are your thoughts on the substance overall either as a fat burner or any other positive quality derived.

I started out trying 1/4 teaspoon a few times daily and aimed for an empty stomach. I then moved to 1/3 of a teaspoon, and currently trying 1/2 a teaspoon for each dose. I *think* there could be improved energy but its subtle. As for fatburning qualities, thats going to take some time to evaluate fairly.

Some other things to note. This stuff tastes pretty funky. Reminds me of the undissolved shit at the bottom of a neo-citron cold&flu drink :) I just toss it in my mouth and and wash it down with some water and DAMN does that taste just stick to your mouth. Also noticed that it may have been responsible for stimulating the bowels a bit? Probably just early adaptation to it, and from using it on an empty stomach.

I'm wondering if I should just keep upping the dosage until I notice something clearly perceivable or if thats just a waste of product. Figure I've got enough to play around with at least. Whats the most anyone here has tried in a single dose?

I take shy of a TBS once upon awaking with 200mg caffeine (8am) empty stomach. And once at 5 pm (30 mins pre workout- 1 tbs, 200mg caffeine).

Now the stuff tastes like absolute garbage whether you teaspoon it or make it into a preworkout drink but i thought for the price of a pound and how long it lasts i might as well add it for the show and see if i can benifit. Theres about 1000 variables acting on me with diff stuff so i cant say if its working but its helping for sure.

I was thinking of starting a thread on this as well. Yeah the smell... Smells like death for sure. But the actual taste reminds me of the sugar that comes those little sour candies in the bottom of the bag. I`ve read alcar is actually fat soluble. But still I take it empty stomach. I still have some fat in my system from the previous meal and since I haven`t read any specific amounts of fat needed for absorption, I`ll just say that`s good enough until I find out a better way to use it. So far I`ve been using 1tsp 2-3 times a day.

What to report? Tough to say if there`s much of any energy rush. I`m taking for the supposed fat burning properties and the host of health properpies associated with it.
