Hi everyone, I'm a newb to this forum. My question is regarding abdominal fat loss and supplementation. I want to accelerate the loss of my big mac gut without losing the hard earned muscle I have built.
Here is my stats:

height 5'10"

weight Jan 1st: 262lb
waist Jan 1st : 40.5 inches
Bicep Jan 1st : 16 inches cold

weight April 15th: 247.5lb
waist April 15th: 38 inches
Bicep April 15th: 17.25 inches cold

Been following the Arnold beginner routine since mid January, keeping track of the calories (2500 per day) with 150-200 grams of protein 6 days a week, and 1 day a week of "cheating" which can be up to 3500 calories.
Supplementation has consisted of whey protein 2-3x a day (one post workout), and the animal pak multivitamin. Going to be adding cardio (30 min 4x a week) starting next week and would like to add a fat burner to keep my energy level up after adding the cardio, and of course accelerate fat burning!!! Is there an honestly effective fat burner out there that won't make me feel like a meth addict?(I can't handle ephedrine), but still help me see my abs someday? Thank you for your help!

Abdominal fat loss will only be possible with overall fat loss. Have you lost any weight since Jan and if so,how much?

Yes, lost about 15lb so far. Everything else is starting to look good, but the belly fat is being more stubborn than the rest.

Welcome. Put your data in this and then post your BMR calories here. You use energy no matter what you're doing, even when sleeping. The BMR Calculator will calculate your Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR); the number of calories you'd burn if you stayed in bed all day. Copy and pasted from the site. Find out your BMR first. Then do your Harris Benedict Equation to figure out what calories you need to maintain your current weight. It's a rough guide so watch yourself and tweek your calories if/when neccessary.

In addition to whats been said:

I started off a little heavier than you. Today I am 177 lbs at 5'10, which is a 70 lb weight loss.

I'd drop your calories a bit and reduce that cheat day to a cheat meal. I eat about 1700-1800 calories a day, (maintenance is 2300) including between 150-200 g protein, and lift heavy 3x weekly. During my beginning I was doing about 45 mins of cardio on all my off days. (watching downloaded tv shows while briskly walking on the dreadmill.) As far as fat burners, I honestly got nothing out of ephedrine. I did the best when I strictly adhered to 1700-1800 calories and did my cardio, plus 3x wk lifting. For a pre-workout boost I will use caffeine tabs. (I am quite stim resistant and take 600 pre, but you could start with 200 and see how it hits you.)
