View Full Version : Test Leaving the Blood?

This is an old and dumb question since research on my own would quickly answer it. But, hey, some of you wise guys out there maybe can save me time!:help

Say I had my last Test enanthate injection three weeks ago. Has the exogenous Test now pretty well left my bloodstream? If not, how long will it take? (Yes, I know in reality it will vary.)

I've answered this question myself, but now I want to be sure. My educated guess izzat there is still too much Test e left in my blood for me to get a normal or or low testosterone level reading in bloodwork. (This has nothing to do with PCT since none is being done.)

Always merry & bright,
Solo:rolleyes:

Thanks, Spiderman. Now if only I could quickly learn how to read it. Honest, I'm a PhD, but this whole half-life thing just confuses me. You're either alive or dead, right?

I've been running 750 mg/wk of Test e for 13 weeks, ending March 8. I'm just looking for a guestimate of when my testosterone level BW readings might show normal or lower once again. Since March 8, I have been cruising on masteron (no Test at all) & will continue to do so until mid-May.

Enenthate half life is 10.5 days give or take so if your last shot was on March 8th and lets say you had 750mgs floating around in yer system then that puts your current test levels around 281.25mgs.

So if you did a blood test right now your test levels would still be really high compared to normal.

Hope this helps.

EDIT, I would think you would be ready for the blood test by the end of April, but in all honesty you should pm praetorian and ask him if you really want all the right answers :)

According to the calculator it would be totally out of your system after 38 days.

According to the calculator enenthate has a half life of 5 days and that's wrong, so are most of the other half lives from what I can see.

Sorry, your correct. I forgot to change the half life. After changing the half life to 11 days it takes 71 days to clear the system. According to the calculator.

Yup something like that so the OP should be able to go for his blood work end of april and it will come back with a LOW test reading cause he's still having his naty test suppresed by the masteron and the test-enen will be mostly if not all out of his system.

At least this is what I believe.

It depends what you want the value to be. After 7 weeks you will have about the natural amount in your system. This is only valid if your own production is fully shut down. I used 11 days as half life.

This sounds reasonable, and I appreciate your input, RR. Add to this the fact that I'm still running lots of masteron (& loving it), which would likely keep my natty Test system shut right down, so after seven weeks there should not be much there (on paper anyway).

I am not too sure how long it will take to reach "normal" blood levels as it might take a long time for things to get back to normal. As a personal example, I once got my blood work done 6-7 months after a cycle and my test levels were at 34.3 when normal for my age is supposed to be 7.3-23.5 nmol/L. Yet strangely enough LH and free test were in the normal levels. From what I remember, my doc explained that it can take a long time for these substances to totally clear your system (they stick around in your bodies lipids I think). Although it doesn't seem likely that there still would have been exogenous androgens present (maybe it was a rebound effect?), I guess my point is that it takes a lot longer than most people realize for their body to get back to normal. So don't be surprised if blood levels are off, especially only after a month or two.

I get tested periodically because I am on HRT and my doc likes to keep tabs on me. Generally, I just pin the prescribed amount once a week instead of every 2 weeks. Using HG test I only need to wait about 3 weeks after a shot in order to get tested.

haha not in chemistry it seems. Just joking.

Why no pct though?

No, anything with numbers tends to quickly blur into infinity for me.

Why no pct though?
Because I'm on TRT anyway and, at this time, I'd rather arrange my own protocol than go back on the Androgel® waste of time.

Besides, I'm trying to see if staying off all testosterone has any effect on my BPH. So far, no change. In fact, the masteron may be contributing to it (in spite of expert opinion to the contrary).
