Heres a pic of my back from about a week and a half ago at 201 im a little tighter now and slightly less fat holding in lower back but here is a back shot. Much improved from last years.

10 more days and im there. Cant believe it. Worked with Korillon, LMBQ, and DK last night and we had a hell of a workout. Good one for sure and those two are coming along at an amazing rate. the pictures dont do any justice.
Me, well im just trying to stick to the diet andget down maybe 1-2 more pounds now in the last weeks before cutting water, etc. This saturday we switch from heavy training to mainly depletion exercise and upping the cardio. As it is im 197-199 in the morning depending on day so 198 is the cut off for light heavies and im there for sure.

9 More days till showtime. That leaves me with about 1 more workout for legs tommarow, then depletion of the upperbody until wenesday. In attempt to get the fat down the last bit im doing about 1-1.5h cardio so far. Also dropped the shakes for some tastier and more filling whole food. Water still at 10L, salt intake 5000mg.
Getting anxious to get it going now. Feeling tired but workouts have not been suffering at all. Sleep also has been not a problem as it was in the past. Weight slowly and steadily getting to where i need it to be.
We will reevaluate thigns and step up a few notches this monday for sure to blast off the last bit and get as lean as possible. Bye bye carbs and sanity but im ready to go now.

Exactly 1 week out as of tommarow. Just trained legs and some cardio and weight is slightly down on exercises but not much. Ive been really going balls to the wall the last week and made it down to where i need to be. 197 after eating all day and 8l of water. So as it stands im in the weight class and next week will be 2 a day cardio and low if any carbs. Im going to make it now. Im tired and bitchy but im physically looking my best. Just fighting to stay clean on the diet and make it through the cardio. Its so close now i can already taste the afterparty.

Starting carb depletion and training today. Cardio at 2 hours a day split into two sessions. Training 2 times a day upper body only now. Tonight had good strength but in the days to come as carbs are zero (but greens so fibrous carbs will be there) the strength will surely dip. Glycogen stores will become depleted and im hoping to drop the rest i need to be completly peeled. Been practicing posing and my routine very stirctly for about 20mins PWO and every time i pass a mirror. LOL vanity...
A little bloated and gassy as hell today. Must be the upped amount of protein and dropping of shakes for real foods. Feeling excellent physically and mentally im pumped because training wise i only have 4 days left. Got work off and no commitments so i can put everything i have into this last week.
Wish my luck tommarow morning the agony will begin but im ready for it. 4 days of pain is a pitiful sacrifice for the work and money ive put into this offseason as a whole! I cant wait to hit that stage and say i left no stone unturned and did the best i absolutly could. I have taken my body to its current limit and im pleased with what i have achieved. Regardless of placing in this show no matter who shows up i know i could not have done better!
Thanks for following my logs guys and bare with me as the posts start to make less sense and get negative as i go NO carbs and deplete...

Hey guys n gals.
4 DAYS TILL WEIGH INS!
Yesterday i didnt post much and didnt like being alive to much. It was the first time i ever cut carbs completely and man did i feel it. The worst headache, body ache, stomach explosion i have ever felt. I hit a brick wall. But id roughed it out and got through it last night and managed to get a decent sleep considering the circumstances.
Weight this morning was very very satisfying. I know with zero carbs im going to be flat today so i accepted it. But still strong considering and put up 100DB for flat bench today for 10 good slow reps. Just find i burn out a lot quicker without that fuel...
Im right on track and the plan is working absolutly perfect. No problems with making weight now i just got to keep busting ass in the gym and on the cardio. SOOO CLOSEE! cant barely wait.

Everything going good but have a serious problem. Since i cut out carbs besides from greens at about 4-9pm the last 2 days and today ive had the worst abdominal pain, gas, and very painful bloating. Im taking 6g of fibre 6-7 times a day (36-40g) and my water intake is consistent 8L. I had to cut a workout short today i was in so much pain. Ive tried gas x, tums (a lot), pepto. Nothing settles it down much. Its a real ****ing pain ill tell ya. Im pissed i had to miss 10 mins of cardio today to reach the 2h mark. I sat in the change room sprawled out for 20mins and gagged/threw up because the pain and gas was so death. Any suggestions guys! i heard rolla say bowel buddies and i seen them at walmart but i dont want any carbs to ruin the carb depletion and such. Just suck it up or should i try something?

when you say you cut carbs, what did you replace it with? what is the difference between what your eating now with the pain, compared to before without it?
Some days I just have problems with gas, and I can't put my finger on it, but passes quickly, but if this is the last 2 days - must be something your eating different?

Instead of eating a 7 meals with a protein source and 30g of carbs approx. i removed all carbs besides what occurs in veggies such as celery, spinach, and cucumbers. Upped the protein tho to 9 meals and cut out fat sources and replaced shakes with food.

I had the same problem when I first went to the no carb after a week or so.
gut was distended, farted like an old chevy, pain in the gut.
for me I got the benefiber with the weight management B12. it is made to help with digestion more. I have the normal benefiber now and I sometimes still get pain and still gas.
I think the weight management one worked better

yeah, kinda the same lines I was thinking...If all you did was cut out many of your carb meals, but not up the fibre meals, or add in loads of something your not used to I can't see why the drop in calories would make you gassy...Unles you added in way too much protein, from something like protein powder...Sometimes if I eat too much chicken, or protein powder, things go funny for me.
It doesn't seem like you did a major change, but if the change is actually what caused it, that's just another reason why never to drastically change things the last week. Personally I think it will pass.

Woke up this morning and finnaly the pain has subsided. Thank god. Thanks everyone for your responses. Despite cutting my cardio 10-20mins short my weight has come down exactly as we planned. Couldnt be happier about that. Still no carbs, 2 workouts today, and 2h cardio session but getting the results i need! Tonight im not eating to much greens, taking out some supplements, and going to see if that helps my stomach pains.

I hope you feel better tavi. Stomach pain could be unbelieveable at times during either weight loss or weight gain. I started taking digestive enzymes when my stomach starts to hurt but sometimes you have to go to the washroom 70-10 times a day. Not fun.
3 more days left. You got this comp locked down!!!! Good luck

Stomach was good all day until now once again i feel it coming on. I dropped supplements didnt take anything for stomach acids or pain. Got rid of salad dressing and condiments and anything to stress the stomach. But i can feel this shit coming on again just like the last few days.
Oh well my body hates me so bad. Its telling me to stop whatever im doing right now as my stomach emplodes into itself. but i cant let these few days ruin this amazing prep. If its too bad ill just go to sleep early like last night. Technically only 1 more day of training/cardio/extremely low carbs. Then thursday if all goes well i may be able to eat a bit and rest. PRactice my posing also but that goes without saying.
getting very excited and making plans with Korillon about the weekend makes me so much more pumped up and focused. This is going to be a blast i cant wait to do this thing and show what ive tried so hard for.

Im so excited i already starting packign my luggage. LOL.. i even acquired my after the show food...pack of snickers bars, trail mix, capn crunch, peanut butter, etc.
Im so ready for this carb load im dieing ill tell ya. But 1 more day in the gym tommarow and im good as gold! getting my hair chopped tommarow night too to add to the lean look maybe take of 0.2lbs hahah.

Made it through the carb depletion and held it tough.
Got my weight down to a point i never thought i could. Now the fun part. I get to carb up today and rest to get ready to leave tommarow. I got my bag packed almost and everything is set to leave tommarow morning. Its going to be a eating, laying around watching movies sort of day and drinking water. LOL..cant wait. Ive worked so hard last few weeks especially a day off and some carbs is going to make me look like a million bucks. Look out tommarow me and DK are taking off and may snap a few sneak pics before we go to keep ya updated.

It would appear your issue is with the fiber. You have to ease into that much fiber. You cannot take that much starting out or yes you will experience gas, bloating etc. the body needs to become accustomed to it...which take a few days. Normally starting with half the recommended dose and gradually working up does the trick.

definately agree, i jumped into using the recommended dose of my fibre supp and i was clogged up for about a week/ ran into some serious digestion problems just prior to contest. messed me right up

Leaving for Missisuaga in about an hour. All packed up and everything i need to bring is ready to go. This is it man...weigh ins tonight at 7pm got to make the 198 cut off for light heavies and should be OK. Will limit food intake today until weigh ins, up the water and flush the system. After my carb up day yesterday vascularity and fullness is a tonne better. What a differnce with some carbs in me. Well this will be my last post before Sunday night when i get back so at Korillons we will try and keep ya updates. Wish me luck brothas this is what ive worked so hard for and now its time to shine..
PS. Id like to thank everyone for bearing with me through my endless carb depleted posts, ups and downs, problems, whining, etc. This place is more than a board its a group of guys and gals who are cool shit. I appreciate everyones help and insight. THANK YOU CBB!!!!

Sean Summers did my tan for this show and i have to say what a deal and a smart move for anyone competing who doesnt like to apply 10 coats of protan. The whole spray process took half hour max and it looked awesome and very dark with minimal rub off at all.
Never using protan again what a god send.
On another note i just finished doing the prejudging and now waiting for the night show at korillons pad here. Me and Korillon both had a good morning show in our classes and im looking forward to seeing how we fall. My class had about 7 or 8 guys in it (light heavyweights) and was pretty competitve. Hoping for a solid finish tonight and gonna have some fun and do my routine...

Well ladies and gentlemen. Its all over. I did it, i stuck the plan, and the plan worked. I came in dry, lean and at my best ever. Got 2nd place out of 8 in the light heavies. The class was pretty competitive and basicly the guy who beat me really deserved it. Much better bb all around. But i did exactly as we planned and DKs Prep lead me to my best finish and best BB accomplishment of my life.
Two 2nd place finishes by the Canadian Muscle Team athletes trained by Delt King! Id like to thank DK for everything hes done for me (it would take me days to even begin to tell how much) and korillon and LMBQ in this prep. And id also like to say ive never been treated so well as a guest staying at Korillons and LMBQs place. They made me food, gave me all the amentities of home and were the best hosts ever. You guys are both amazing people BB aside. I appreciate everything from the bottom of my heart honestly.
Just enjoying life today and getting back to normal. Trying to get a hold on my thoughts, emotitons. Still flying from yesterday and havent really come back to reality yet! Family is over for my congratulatory party. Keeping the carbs respectable so i dont explode.

Nobody talk to me. IM FAT. LOL i had such a sloppy messy cheat day yesterday i should quit now. LOL.. Jk this morning i woke up and sed **** this. I wanna be a provincial BB and its 4 weeks away. fired up my new BBQ and im eating my 2nd meal now. IM back at it in full force. Had my rest, had the BS cheats and cravings are gone. NOW its even harder for these provincials. CMT is going to the provincials and we will DELIVER> I promise you all that. I WILL BE HARDER, my posing will be polished. and im gonna enjoy the expiernce no placing in mind.
