I'll post this up and hope it helps others. The beauty of Chondroitin Sulfate. I've been on a 2 pill a day Chondroitin sulfate supp for the past week and my joints don't hurt as badly after an intense workout. Here's how I take it:
I get up, have a high protein, mid carb, low fat breakfast and right after that take my first of 2 a day multi-vitamins and a Chondroitin sulfate pill, again my 1st of 2 for the day. Do the same routine right after eating my last meal. You know the burn and aches you get after a great intense workout, it's like a lingering dull pain, well the Chondroitin pill totally eliminates that annoyance for me. I'm hooked on the supp and will use it 100%. I hope this helps others. My dad has been using the supp for the past 2 years to treat his arthritis and it works for him as well. Just a quick note: our family doctor suggested for my dad to switch from glucosamine to chondroitin because glucosamine is a sugar based mineral and will elevate your blood-glucose levels. Glucosamine is cheaper and it will do the same healing effects on your joints as Chondroitin sulfate but our family history of diabetes made the switch and the little extra expense of C.Sulfate well worth it.

Ya...sorry but I hardly doubt you using it for one week has done anything for you...maybe a placedo affect :) I think I takes it a little longer then a week to start feeling the results of that. Hooked on after a week..Wow!

ive tried all of those joint supports and the only one that i could tell was helping me was celadrin after trying glucosamine chondroitin and celadrin all separately. thats awesome if its working for you after a week though youre lucky!

What brand?
What dose?

I had thought that glucosamine helped with regeneration and chondroitin helped with elasticity while celadrine was primarily an antiinflamatory? Seeems like a wicked combination to me, why would you focus on just 1?

Glucosamine has to be taken for long periods to see full benefit. Maybe pacebo effect or your the lucky few who respond to it better. Umm yeah Caledrin is similar to omega3's as it lubricates and acts as anti inflamatory. Another supplement I take is Supercissus rx and seems to be really helping. Do a search on it, lots of BB swear by it joint regeneration properties.

Thanks for the replies, yeah Chondroitin works great for me as it does for my dad. That's where I got the info for it. I don't think it's a placebo effect because I tried today to go without it and the burning/dull pain for my joints was there. Glad to see you guys have found other products to heal your joints, I'll look into it.

Thank you.

I doubt chondroitin work that fast. Well, it never did for me. But I'm happy for you, as other said, stick with it if it works for you.
