I wish they didn't test anyone. In bodybuilding it's not really a big deal if natty guys go up against guys on AAS...no one gets hurt. In ultimate fighting they can't keep people from juicing so they should just let everyone do it. Like Mark Coleman...He was probably juiced up prior to competing at the Olympics let alone MMA. I think it becomes a safety issue when you have guys who test clean but are obviously much "bigger stronger and faster".

I'm not sure a North American audience would go for head stomps, knees to a guy on his back etc... (obviously they wouldn't go for the all drug competitors either...but it sure would be entertaining)

I agree bro.........and no prob not, even though it makes for a more lively, but brutal match lol

I love the "old Pride" version of the Axe Murderer Wanderlei Silva. Not that he's not still awesome to watch now but during his pride days when he smelled blood................woah look out

Entertaining to watch guys like that - Mike Tyson type - only good for standing & smashing - Melvin Manhoef was a good one for that

Maybe a little bit...I'm not saying I'm pro steroids but with something like MMA they should either be really strict. ie. show up randomly throughout the year with a cup in hand...or just forget about testing. They have no excuses for not randomly testing the athletes. It would be a drop in the bucket considering how much revenue the sport generates. UFC would never do it because they are interested in $$$ which means biggest meanest fighters possible while still passing a drug test.

The problem with drug testing in UFC is that it is first and foremost entertainment. The organization is for profit television entertainment. The last thing they want to do is lose money makers to failed drug tests. This means they will continue to test poorly and throw people under the bus occasionally. Sad but no worse than boxing.

I had watched all the PrideFC's on Bell Expressvue back in the day. I preferred it much more over the UFC.
