View Full Version : Off Season banana protein Pancakes

4 egg whites
2 tblsp flour (I use whole wheat) (you can even use pancake mix if you want)
2 tablespoon protein powder (i use vanilla icecream)
2 tablespoon yogurt
1 tablespoon peanutbutter
1 banana
aprox 2 tblsp milk (can be skim or use water)
a few chocolate chips if desired

beat the egg whites until fluffy

mix protein powder and flour in bowl

mix yogurt, PB and milk into dry mixture

fold in egg whites

in a LIGHTLY oiled (or pam) non stick frypan over medium heat, make dump some batter, throw in banana and a few chocolate chips while batter is still wet... flip once after bubbles start forming on top of pancake ,or burning smell comes from bottom ;)

should make about 6 pancakes...

MMM i love the off season.. I usually replace the flour with protein powder!
Can also use apple sauce with the yogurt! toss on some suger free syrup and your laughin!

While dieting(if im not doing keto) or even bulking i like to make mine with cottage cheese.Yes,cottage cheese and its delicious

1cup of oatmeal
1 cup of low fat cottage cheese
1 egg(or 2 eggwhites)
1 packet of twin sugar
1/2 a packet of strawberry jello lite zero fat/carb
1/4 cup of water

Add the cottage cheese and egg(or whites) first in the blender and mix.Then while blending add in your oatmeal slowly adding water when necessary.Then add the rest.Mix well then dump into a sprayed pan and cook.I use jam or ed smiths very low calorie syrop!!

It comes out to about 720 cals

Yupp your totally right.. i forgot to add that in my list. I use dry curd cottage cheese.. just made these last night! Mmmm! sooo good! Iv been snacking on them all day smothered with peanut butter!

Both of those sound great!!

Mine are pretty simple

4--------omega 3 eggs
2pk------oatmeal-----(i put it in my magic bullet to break it down to powder)
1 scoop--Whey isolate (Vanilla PB)
1 tsp-----Cinnamon
1 tsp-----Baking powder

Blend and cook like pancakes

top with WFsyrup or WF chocolate sauce
