What kind of things do you guys do to relieve carpel tunnel pain?

Recently, I've been experiencing more frequent flare ups of pain in my right wrist. It'll be fine, then all of a sudden gripping a box or something and I'll feel a crackle deep within my wrist and then it's all pain and I can't grip anything without getting shooting pain.

I ordered a couple magnetic wrist straps. One has a splint, the other doesn't. The ones I have are made by BIOFlex.

I have to say, this thing actually works. I started getting the same pain in my wrist tonight, so I put the strap on and after 30 mins or so the pain has subsided. Do the magnets really work, or is it just the heat that's generated by wearing it (it's made of neoprene, so it gets pretty hot)?

havent heard of the magnets... I usually just try to pretend my wrists are ok, and I pretty much constantly workout with straps... but with a kick up in my gymnastics, and increaseing holds... it's been kinda worse... im going to look into the magnet thinggies.. thanks
