Can I set up some kind of RSS program for my desktop to show one particular thread on a forum?

under thread tools you can subscribe and have the posts shipped to your email. not sure if you can leverage that into an rss feed or not.

A threads URL does not change and you could monitor it with an RSS reader. It will load the whole page not just the newest post however so I don't know how useful that would be to you.

So what if the page is huge like it doesnt have page 1 page 2 rather every post on page 1

This is a feature that the boards don't commonly have that I would love to see.
I follow far too many of them and rss feeds would be a fantastic way of reducing all the clicking and pissing about.
