I had a look at the advertisement and I have to wonder why I would want my workouts to feel easy? So I don't feel like I'm doing **** all or have any satisfaction from my workouts? I wouldn't buy anything that caters to the lazy and uninformed, especially the super-secret formulas made only for elites.

Good pre-workout supp: Water, skim milk, dextrose, 1 or 2 bananas in a shake.

Good post-workout supp: Same as above with 60 grams isolate protein. :)

Shit 60 grams protein? What's your post workout meal? I always thought it was better to keep a 2:1 carbs/protein ratio right after weight training and use quick digesting protein like whey pre-workout so you don't digest during workout and still feed the muscle. Reason I looked at buying surge again is because I'm following precision nutrition still (works well for me). The guy who made it, John Berardi (phd in nutrition), made that supplement also and it just fits well with the diet because of the 2:1 ratio... No need to supplement amino acid, maltodextrose, extra protein or anything else with it. Simplify my life quite a bit...

I think you'll find the majority of vets on this board would agree that the vast majority of super-supplements are nothing but hype and wasted money. Do you really believe that the posted company has been supplying elite athletes with a secret formula and is finally releasing it to the public? Stick with the basics that are proven to work and you'll make better gains and save a pile of money that can be better spent on chicken breast and steak. :)

Surge is overhyped and way overpriced shit. You`d be much better off using a higher dose of bcaa`s, dextrose (more of it than in Surge) and some isolate or if you wanna $$$ use the hydrosolate which personally I`m not sold on.

I think you guys got caught by muscletech too often, you sound like a broken record now. I never mentioned anywhere I believed any hype from that website or others, I mean I did post this to make fun of it didn't I?

BCAA does work during workout at maximizing recovery, maltodextrose does work post workout at replenishing glycogen, a 2:1 ratio of carbs to protein is highly recommended post workout by a lot of coaches.

My point will stick, I ended up on that website because I was looking for pre/post workout alternatives to surge, which does work, but which is a bit overpriced.
