just thought i'd give my take on trainers....

THEY ARE WORTH EVERY PENNY

unfortunately a lot of them don't know jack shit, so its very important to do your homework, find the right person who knows what they are doing. i found mine through word of mouth, also i saw her competitor win his class, and also some of the other ppl she trains... big jacked up mofo's with minimal BF

this new training style...very different from mine, but i cant argue with the results. only been doing the full routine for a week, my rear delts are already popping more than ever in my life. my cost of food has skyrocketed, but my muscles are pumped full and i still have a bit vascularity throughout the entire day.

as i attempt to do my excercises following her "proper form", i find myself less and less achy in my joints. on the other hand, i feel like someone beat me with a bar of soap and a sock after every workout, even though im lifting maybe 3/5ths of the weight i normally push. its actually a annoying, guys who weigh a good 30lbs under me, pushing more weight and giving me a little smirk, grrrrr

basically, what im trying to say is, spend a less on your gear and invest in a professional trainer.

im noticing changes in my physiqure already, the delts are popping more, etc... and its only been a week

(ps. this isnt a plug for my trainer, just trying to share my experience)

Couldnt agree with you more mate. Theres nothing like using other pps failures and experiences to help you out. Some small adjustments to form and BAM, you cant believe how well it hits. Theyre tough to find though.

I personally wish i could find a large mofo to train mornings with. The only time i see large guys in at 6am is when theyre doing morning cardio for some show lol.

Learn as much as you can, then pass it on bro!

I have to agree... having an objective third eye to tell you what you NEED to do rather than what you want to do makes all the difference... but as indicated above, a competent trainer is hard to find... many are good salesmen but very few are good coaches.

What if your city is lacking in trainers who don't teach that swiss ball shit?

There are many Coaches who train clients online... the new client travels to the Coach's location, gets coached on exercise technique, and then can do the programming and monitoring via online delivery. Client can then come back periodically to have technique re-assessed and learn new techniques and so on... of course there's a cost associated with this but again well worth the money if you get the right Coach.

I have a professional trainer, coach, mentor, and best friend all at once. Beat that. Plus its not 500 dollars a month. Its 30 minutes a week of grass cutting!!!Not too mention this coach is so badass she even trains the shit out of my girlfriend when shes not putting me to shame and destroying my ego by beating me on every exercise!:a+

I have to agree...I hired Phil Hernon 2 months ago...and the change in my physique over the past 2 months has been way more than I would've achieved myself.
