I'm not so sure it can cause one to develop if nothing existed prior to the use, but if using it can cause existing freckles/moles to get darker and/or bigger... having one in the eye would certainly be cause to rethink using it. Unfortunately, that's dissuaded me from using it altogether now.. had to cancel my order.
Thanks for the warning kloan. I have been to the optometrist last summer and all was OK beside my slight myopia.
