Default anything wrong with 1 big meal instead of many in a day?

I am working nights and find myself not hungry at all in the night time so what I have been doing is I wake up and have 1 scoop myofusion and take my hydroxy cut, epphy and l carnatine then head to the gym and bang out a hour or 2 of weights then I do some hiit cardio some days and slow long cardio on others. I then go home and make a meal.. today I made a salad of dark greens. 20oz chicken breast with fajita seasoning and salsa, I then bring more pills and 2 scoops of myo for later in the evening. Another supper I'll do is 10oz chicken, brown rice and beans or peas.

What I am aiming for is fat burn (and I've got a bit to burn) while at the same time build a pretty solid base.

I can't do the refrigerated and reheat food anymore, had too much and it makes me sick to look at. I gotta cook fresh which is why I do this.

Is there any reason this setup would be a bad idea? I realize for bulking it would be bad but seeing as my primary is fat loss would this suffice or am I crippling potential losses?

    Thanks guys.

I would worry about catabolism with such long breaks between meals. But that's just me. Many advocate IF for dieting so it really just depends who you listen to.

The body can store crabs (glycogen) and fat but it cannot store protein. So if it needs protein ie you havent had any for many hours it will take it from the body ie gluconeogenesis by converting amino acids ie muscle.

If you are aiming for fatloss, then I don't think the above will apply for very long. Once you lose a little, I'm sure you'll welcome reheated food

Also training with a scoop of protein only + doing cardio/HIIT is probably not best.

I understand your situation and myself prefer fresh food also and not always being hungry for solid food, personally here what I would do in your situation:

If you can't eat solid when you wake up I would take a protein/carb shake pre-workout and I would sip more protein and carbs intra-workout. And have a liquid meal, not another protein shake, but drink a liquid meal. Get a full meal in the middle of the night and just before to go to bed at night I would have another liquid meal.

Liquid meal can be more then just protein in water, here a few examples:

    - 4 eggs + 25g of whey protein or
    - 1-2 eggs + 1/2 avocado + 35g protein or
    - Raw milk* + 1/2 avocado + 1/2 banana + berries + 25g protein

    etc...

At least you get protein multiple time a day.

    * Raw milk is off season only, water if you're on a diet.
