    Default Gym "fashion"

Ok. I am aware that my gym is a horrific example of what "should be" done or worn while training, but what is with the trend of ultra douche bag dudes in their 30's and up wearing the most flamboyant clothing or obviously peacocking?

Do you wear a toque while you work out? Why do you do this? Are your head and ears cold in this climate controlled, room temperature environment? Take your toque off once youre in from outside because you look like a dick.

Do you strut around with your arms flaring out? Why do you do this? You are 37 years old. Everyone between 17-22, I get. They are new to the game usually and dont know any better. Weve all been there. Youre over 30 or even 40 and you still strut around the gym in your perpetually sleeveless or compression fit attire like a massive bag of dicks. Save the compression for under your equipment. Thats why its called UNDER armour. Figure it out.

Do you grunt while you do curls or lateral lifts? Why? Do you really need to expend that bit of air to move that massive load youre curling. You are embarrassing yourself and everyone around is laughing because youre such a tool. Nobody thinks you are strong or big. Please build a home gym and train there where you will always be number one champ in the gym!

    That is all.

I know what you mean #8. I train at my university gym and all of the older profs are wearing the occlusion fitting under armour shirts. There's one particular prof who thinks that he's pretty macho by doing circuits of benching, sit-ups and bicep curls to finish off. First he'll bench 135 for a struggling 3 reps, then do some random sit ups on the bench and then rush over to the rack, grab some 30's and pretend he's a gorilla for a bit. I just wonder how their teaching styles must be...

I like the guys in their 50's who are doing exercises where I can't figure out what muscle group they are trying to work.

Personally I don't care what guys wear in the gym, just don't wear something way too small outside the gym.

Haha I'm upper 30's and have worn an underarmour shirt with my black toque while grunting on laterals. Damn I guess I'm a douche. Lol. On the other hand... I think I can pull the look off.
