Default TN Brown rice carbohydrate review!

    http://truenutrition.com/p-1048-whol...drate-1lb.aspx

-Effect: Yes it does what it's supposed to do : 5
-Flavor: No flavor added, plain : 5
    -Value: Very cheap : 5
-Comments: I've tried this source of carbs for a while and I'm really surprised how awesome this product is. Not only it taste so much better then maltodextrine or waxy maze, which both are from corn (I'm not a fan of corn and derived from corn), but it leave me a much better feeling, no bloating, no water retention, I feel much 'tighter' since I use this, not getting the 'I feel fat' feeling I had sometime here and there in the week. I use 50g before training and 75g after training.

This product leave a very good sugary taste to your shakes, it does not contain fructose, arsenic is low (might be a concern because it came from rice) at -<.08 mcg/g when recommended limit is to be under 10 mcg/day. It is bit more expensive then malto or dextrose (never been a fan of dextrose, plus it sound like hospital), but cheaper then waxy maze.

Really recommended, I think if more people would try this, they would switch right away like me. I waited a while before doing this review as I would be sure I like it long term, now I can say it became a staple, at a point that I think I will give to someone the 10lbs or so of waxy maze I have left.

Of course you don't take this is you are in keto. Keto is perfect to loose weight when you have to, but I would not stay in keto all year round, when you reach your target BF% and want to bulk up some mass without fat I believe you need to take advantage of the insulin's anabolic effect.

The idea is to find the 'sweet' spot where you can make lean gain, so you increase your carbs intake slowly until you are in a slight calorie surplus, begin to make lean gain, but not too much so you don't get you fat deposition and scrap your nice keto diet you just did. For me, for now, it's around 200g per training day and 125g on non training day. I take 300g of protein everyday and the rest of the cal comes from fat.

IMO there some moments in the day where you have higher insulin sensitivity like in the morning and PWO and there are good time to take carbs. Personally I prefer to take not too much carbs in the morning, like 25g, but from fruits. I like also to take 50g before training, it does help me go through more easily and 75g PWO. Those 50+75 are from brown rice carbs. The remaining 50g are in the meal after the PWO shake. That is actually what is working for me, my weight is slowly going up, but BF remains the same. But those are my numbers, each person need to find their own.

Like I said I feel really great, no bloated, plus it taste much better compared to all the other carbs or mix of carbs I've tried so far. So it's win for me. It's now a staple in my diet beside Whey Isolate and olive oil.

I have not used this product but Im gonna go ahead and disagree with your post on it being better than malto.

Malto contains no sugar and is cheaper. This product is pure sugar. You may as well be using dextrose.

There is no sugar or fructose in brown rice also. And you may not know but malto is also a derivative of dextrose (aka glucose), in fact, even if it's a polysaccharide and is technically a complex carbohydrate on paper, it doesn't act like it, those 'complex chain' are very short and the bonds between the glucose units of maltodextrin are actually weak. It is fast digested and the absorption rate is also very fast, it’s absorbed just a bit slower than dextrose, but not much of a difference.

One more thing people should consider, maltodextrin, wazy maze and dextrose have one common thing : they are from corn. And what is the chance not to have non-GMO corn these days ? When Mosanto own the corn world from USA, to India and spreading in Mexico... The idea of ingesting more then 1lbs of this GMO sh!t per week, is a real turn off for me, I dunno for you.

Brown rice carbs are non-GMO and I like the effect it has on me, better then those I had when I was taking those corn byproducts.

    Hope it help.

I checked the link and can't figure out what the appropriate serving size is or how much a bottle costs. It can't be three and a half bucks ,can it ?

Brown rice is also gluten free for those that are concerned about that as well...

3.69$/lbs yes! You order the amount you need, personally I order by 20lbs shot, so it's cheaper, 3.51$, I use a -5% code which make 3.33$/lbs. As for serving size, I use a scale to get the amount I want. There is also a table on the side (at right) on the link I've put, that can help if you don't have a scale, BTW a scale is a great cheap tool to have, 19.99$ : http://truenutrition.com/p-1032-440g...ket-scale.aspx and you weight any supplements and food you want, very precisely from .1g to 440g.
