lol... problem with that is that now you've created an expectation. Next time you better come in that same near death condition or else they'll say - 'yeah, his shape improved, but he's fat now'.

I'd expect it myself. I think that may be my "genetic advantage". Able to get crazy lean....
Actually. May have two genetic gifts.... Can get fat too... Lol

I do however know that when I do have extra time to perfect a routine, it shows. Yes, my winged routines are so-so, but a planned routine will show - the judges will see that, you're score won't change, but they'll remember you. In a subjective sport, you want judges to remember you (for next time). Any advantage helps. And if you are known as the guy that is an awesome poser, they will be looking at you the next time they see you.
Bill Pearl used to start working on his posing routine about 6 months out from a show or exhibition and he was also known as being one hell of an entertaining poser...although I never had the opportunity to see Bill on stage I did get to see Labrada, Pearson and others like Beckles who were all considered great posers and this is something that is lost in BBing today, to be honest I would rather watch a female pro on stage posing than most male pro's as the women are just more entertaining....And someone who is a great poser even if they have a lesser physique than the top 5 placers will stand out in everyone's mind who saw them on stage....there was this guy last year at a local show who had a horrid physique but his routine was so damned entertaining and engaging that he's the competitor that I remember and not the guy who won.

I feel as though I should give mention to Vince Taylor. Great poser and very entertaining IMO. Great build too. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JMkzWZ0kiHY
