Anyways, how do you go about competing in your own show? Isnt that a conflict of interest? I remember when Roberta Orth won the BC's and Herb Orth promoted it that year too, she didnt deserve to win thats for sure. Nothing against her, just that she wasnt the best competitor onstage that night by far.

unfortunately it was put to CBBF and they are ok with him competing in the same show he promotes so that is out of our hands

well if Dean wanted alot of bad publicity he got it
theres ALOT of very pissed people here in BC
i've had tons of facebook messages, texts, emails and been told in person

theres a CODE OF ETHICS that needs to be followed

to me being part of BCABBA and Promoting both the association and the sport
means building up and helping others within the sport
to me he's a disgrace as a promotor & a BCABBA member

Hey now, I was not standing up for his words, rather just making an aside. I am upset by how he made that statement, as I have friends, yourself, and my current trainer who are all the subject of it.

It was basically an attack on other trainers to further his interests. I get many clients who were with other trainers but didnt see the results they wanted. I really try to avoid any negative comments towards their ex-trainers and concentrate on what we can do positively to make the changes required.

With over 100 trainers at my clubs I have never used bashing of other PTs as a means to gain clients. Doesn't look professional and as prae put it so well it's not the most positive way of starting the trainer/client relationship.
