Just got home..what a long day. The judges made the right call with the guys in my opinion...3 new male Cdn pros. JOHNSON came in quiet and took the show..Antoine and Jerome both off a bit and Johnson was spot on and super conditioned...renaldo got better as the night went and Martin Allaire was, imo, the best physique in the show..flawless.

On the womens hand, Fab was clear cut winner and new pro. Lisa Giesbrecht from BC also got pro card and well deserved.

Here at my house the wife took the GM class and then got 5th in open HW which we thought was great but the big surprise to us was she got called out for overall masters and went head to head with Lisa for the card and only lost by a point. I near fell over when they called her to go for the overall masters and pro card...we never even had that even a tiny bit on our mind as first nationals.

Anyway, pizza time...great work guys and gals ...

Antoine Vaillant must be disapointed... It the comparison shots, it seems he doesn't have the lat widness of the other guys?

Alexandre Raymond and Martin Allard looked like they had a real good package from the pics.

    Hi guys,
great contest we have. Forums are some times so funny. When i was SPOT ON last year, Dryvgirl was the only one to say it.
and now ... i did not show my best and i'm OFF. Being OFF and making the top 5 ...wow amazing. what's happen if i'm spot on again !lol
    Anyway just a joke.

After what i have this year, my back problems back in april, my opening store in april, ... and last but not least my moving from montreal to laval in jully.
so with all these things fixed my back is perfect now, we were middle jully wich was a little bit less than 3 months to prepare to this big event .... compare to the 6 months i gave last year.
that was a crazy bet and nearly impossible to come in top shape in a so short time. but it's lesson in life that i take and make me stronger.
some times you win some times you loose, this is called competition. I feel great because of the support i've got this year from my fans, friends, guys on forums ... and also respect that athletes and people give me yesterday knowing me i'm a champion, even if it wasn't my day. that was a victory for me.
just want to congrats jerome, he was my pick for the 1st place, yes yes yes he IS the monster. no doubt. or i would place him 2nd behind a guy with a blue trunk all the experts were talking about him, as the best conditionned guy on stage if not in ALL the show and ... who did NOT place in top 3. i feel really bad for him, i was shocked they did not call him. he's 4th i think, and i'm 5th in think.
congrats to Reinaldo and yes Delt King you were right because on the overall Reinaldo was ALSO my pick ... for the overall !
I was reallly impressed by Reinaldo, i mean he always have great line, but lacking a bit size or fullness. HERE ... he bring his best package, not as sharped like last year but fuuuuull, symetry, crazy hanging hams, fantastic back shots. It's simple he looked the superheavy on the stage of the overall.
he tooked a pro card and i'm happy for him. more than deserved. and he's a nice guy too. lol it's was nice to talk to him.
me, i will fast my ramadan and taking this time to purify and rest my body and after that .... he're we go again.
    loutfi.
