This whole stealing of ideas if you use another trainers dieting strategy I'm not sure if I would classify as stealing. These "gurus" or trainers all know one another for the most part and trade off ideas to an extent. Conversing back and forth with regards to stacks, training and diet to improve your own craft personally I dont think that is stealing. As a good trainer I would think this is a good idea to evolve and not stay in the dark ages with respect to how you train your clients.

agreed, also people forget the best part of having a guru coach whatever is to have someone gauge you and provide un biased opinion. Doing it yourself can be done but there will be some doubt and mind games. Id rather put my trust in someone and have thhem pull me in the show. Having said that you shouldnt just blindly follow everything there should be constant communication back and forth feed back etc. Its a team effort

Some trainers specialize in just the client's training and workouts. Whilst others specialize in just pre-contest nutrition. Others do both training and nutrition. For example Charles Glass just train his clients and Chad Nichols did the nutrition for Charles Glass's clients. And Charles Glass is a good personal trainer. He is one of the top guys out there.

If you watch the video, Ty "Ropeman" Felder said " I am happy to be training with Lee Haney, he corrects me and puts me on the right path" I think Rope was just happy to be training with Mr. Olympia and just followed along.

Good discussion guys, but some of the best pros in the world never trained with a personal trainer. Lee Labrada, Shawn Ray or Markus Ruhl just to name a few. These guys were able to develop their physiques training themselves. I guess they are "Shepherds" as Lee Haney claimed. Sometimes you just have to give credit where credit is due.
