Wait for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 32g WiFi, with Android 3.0 Honeycomb.. You'll be able to buy them in the US first (several online retailers are willing to ship to Canada).

3G is not necessary for a Tablet since you can hotspot a jailbroken iPhone and rooted Android phone to avoid paying usage charges from your provider. I am sure most people in the market for a tablet have 3G phones.

Apparently a 64g has also been announced. Add in the 32g SD card and that is a boat load of storage.

    100% iPad all the way.
Surely this opinion must be swayed by the potential profit in developing apps for the Apple?IPad appears to be a Model T.

Ipad for sure! They are correct there is not native flash support, did they ever stop to notice how dated flash is and the fact that it is being phased out? HTML 5 is coming which apple is all over, so would you rather have dated tech or future proof tech? I have spent a bit of time messing around on most of the tablets in the stores, and none of them had that instant WOW factor like the iPad did.

The iPad (if you want 3G) is available from Rogers, Bell, Telus (also Bell)

And also note that the app selection is a huge part of owning a tablet, and there is no store the the apple App Store >_< haha theres SO many free apps, i have had my iPhone for 3 years and i have never paid for an app and i have well over 100 (not an app whore)

I guess you never tried a windows tablet. Its a full blow computer, not a gimicky toy. Next generation tablets from all manufacturers are sure to support html5 as well.

If you NEED flash then get something that's supports it. If not get an iPad.

    Re: Flash being dated.

That is very much the case. HTML5 is where it's at.

IOS Development is pushing that envelope hard as of late. When you interact with Flash via devices that support it, the user experience is poor.
Consistency and dependability is the key with Mobile solutions, not leveraging Web based technology. (i.e. Flash)

I find the lack of flash on the ipad to be a strange addition to be lacking? Why would apple overlook such a key function of its portability / compatibility. Lets be honest, most people I know use these for entertainment and not work purposes. Seems weird to me that it would lack something so necessary for most of the audience buying it....?
    Never give up a cabinet!!
