It will affect the 187 pound guys who used to be at the top of their classes, and now have no option but to be in the middle of the new class. In my opinion, that actually isnt the problem. There is one major flaw with this, and this is why I think that there is no way this will actually happen. Middleweight class is the BIGGEST class of this show and most shows, with light heavy not being far behind. So what do they do? combine them?? sheesh. Its dumb, and even if it is to match up north americans, why is NAs like that? why have all the classes seperated by 11 pounds except the two biggest classes? Oh well...it might happen this year, but this will be the last year. same as combining masters bodybuilding with the figure show...they will realize this is a mistake. I just have a hunch someone will catch it sooner - as in, when they see at weigh in the classes have all between 10-13 guys except the one class with 38 competitors. lol.
