Here’s my story......my journey......I will try to make this as brief as possible......
2005 I got my pro card....2006 pro debut on the Arnold Classic Stage! 2006 Montreal Pro show I placed 3rd, qualifying for the 2006 Olympia! September 2006 I competed on the Olympia stage! OMG I couldn't believe this journey I was on! Who would have thought! What an experience and what a great achievement!
2008 Vince and I find out we were having a baby! I was told to take it easy with workouts and even stop working out. It took a while and things finally turned out! Our beautiful baby girl was born august 2009! 4 months later studio space came available that just couldn't be passed up. April 2010 my personal training studio was ready to go! Still no workouts.
It is now June 2011 and I am one week out from the Toronto Pro Show that only 7 weeks ago I decided to do! I haven't worked out since I found out I was pregnant and I am going to get prepared for a show in only 7 weeks. Would never have guessed that my baby girl, studio, house renovations and everyday life would keep me from working out and even from doing cardio. I lost all motivation and if not for the Pro show being in Toronto I would be stuck in the rut I was in. I had to do the show for me and to let everyone know that no matter how busy or how stuck in a rut we might be anything is possible and my story took me 2 years to get motivated and decide to do a pro show 7 weeks out! So on June 17, 2011 I will be stepping onto the IFBB pro stage once again and can't wait, I will be competing in Bikini since by not working out for 2 years I have lost a lot of muscle. It feels good to be back and I can' t wait to step on stage..... I'm back and I feel like myself again!!!
